 Frank Rivera has conceived storylines, written scripts, dabbled in production design, acted before the moving camera prior to finally graduating to directing. He is also into painting and portrait art as well as journalism (he currently edits three Tokyo monthlies catering to Japan-based Filipino workers, namely, Kabayan, Dito't Doon; Philippine Digest; Philippine Artist Folio). But his true love ever since his Paete days has been theater. He worked with the Arena Theater Guild during its last years and the Peta during its early years. He founded Mindanao State University's Sining Kambayoka which pioneered the flourishing theater movement in the South. For his theater credentials, he was honored this year with the Patnubay ng Sining at Kalinangan Award by the City of Manila. He was also a recipient of previous nominations and citations for his various works for film. His first directorial job was for an episode in the latest installment of Shake, Rattle and Roll this year. Mama, Dito Sa Aking Puso afforded him the chance to direct his favorite actress, superstar Nora Aunor. His third project as film director, Kahit Hindi Turuan Ang Puso, is now in the can.

Frank G. Rivera is a multi-awarded writer of Palanca, Zarzuela Foundation, Phil Folkloric Society and URIAN. He is an actor, composer, director and teacher who taught theater arts at Philippine Women's University, Sta. Isabel College and University of Sto. Tomas. It was also he who formed A.C.T.I.O.N. (Activating Communities Towards Intercultural Orchestration Network) whose main goal was to present zarzuelas in schools all over the Philippine. He is the editor of the monthly magazine of the Overseas Filipino Workers in Japan. He wrote books -Ama at Iba Pa,Sari-saring Dula ,Mga Dula sa Magkakaibang Midyum, Darna, Etc.,Gothic Telemovies and Ambon, Ulan, Baha, Sarswelang Pinoy. He is a National Fellow for Drama at the Union of the Philippines and in 1997 he was awarded the Patnubay ng Lahi for Theater in Manila. His book MULAT, by UST Publishing House, was awarded the 2003 Global Filipino Literary Awards for Drama by Our Own Voice, USA. His book, Mga Dula sa Magkakaibang Midyum (UST Publishing House) won the 2002 National Book Award from the Manila Critics Circle. At present, Frank leads in the revival of the Filipino Zarzuela by continuously presenting in schools his original drama musicals like Tao 2002,Ambon, Ulan, Baha,Sarsuelang Noli, Halik sa Kampilan & Oyayi.

Dr. Arthur P. Casanova is one of the most multi-faceted Sining Kambayoka Ensemble alumni. He was a former member of the Darangan Cultural Troupe, he was a dancer and choreographer. As an instrumentalist, he used to play the kulintang for Darangan and SKE. He would, however, mark his career in theater and the arts as a writer - textbook reference writer, playwright, folklorist and essayist.
